Scope:

We provided a scope of work based on previous depot audits, developed a budget and accurate quotation which upon acceptance by the client we undertook:

  • Tank draining, cleaning and gas free
  • 10 year tank inspection for corrosion
  • Modified all tank appurtances to ANSI fittings
  • Fitted emergency relief hatches to all tanks and upgraded all valves and equipment
  • Modified walkways and installed a self leveling stairway at the gantry
  • Grit blasted and painted tanks and pipelines using two pack system
  • Upgraded all signage to comply the DG code.
Health, Safety & Environmental: The client’s hot work permit system was used until we had gas freed the depot after which we used our safe work management plan
