Current Projects
Project: BP Fuel Depot – Consolidation & Upgrade
Client: Reliance Petroleum Pty Ltd – Distributor for BP
Location: Forbes, NSW
Project type: Design & construction
Progress: Completed November 2009
Value: $0.5M
Scope:

To upgrade BP’s strategically located fuel depot at Forbes to service central west NSW. (Forbes depot services a 80km radius of predominately farming, mining and transport customers with some 20 million litres of fuel per annum).

The project was achieved by closing smaller depots in neighboring areas and utilizing the best assets to build a modern depot that will service the area for the next 30 years.

Disciplines included: - Design, DA approval, Dangerous goods compliance, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrument.

Health, Safety & Environmental:

The depot upgrade design focused on eliminating product exposure, slip, and trip and fall hazards along with minimizing the need for working at heights.

Environmental management was upgraded by sealing and concreting all bunded areas and implementing ‘best practice’ waste product separator technology.
